Emmanuel Trip to Amacola Falls

18 members of Emmanuel including 8 months old baby and strong Hindu man made a exciting trip to Amacola Falls in north GA. We took I-575 to Elijay and on the way to falls, we went to apple orchard. Many members have never seen apple tree. They were excited to see apple with fruit on it. With minimum fee, we were allowed to pick up one bag of apple. Every one enjoyed picking apple. After apple picking we headed toward Amacola Falls which was main attraction. Many climbed the step to the top and also came down walking.

We had lunch at the top. Before lunch we prayed for food and also for Hindu friend who was with us.

On the way home we were late because of the rush hour jam. But finally we got home too tired.

Baptism for Sept 2010

When God does something nothing can stop, no power on earth can stop the work of God. We are harvesting souls for the kingdom of God and He is giving us souls more than we can handle. Praise the Lord.

14 Buddhists and Hindus have taken Water Baptism on Sept 25th 2010 and four more people accepted Christ on Sept 26th.

After baptism service we had spare ribs Bar-B-Que with Nepali food. We had more than 150 people gathered for the occasion and many of them climbed Stone Mountain which is 45 min walk up hill. Many people have been only few days or weeks in USA. This event was wonderful occasion for them to see beautiful scenery of GA.

All together we have more than 140 people in Emmanuel International Church  and have only one full time pastor. We are immediate need of another associate pastor to handle the revival.

Thanks for praying for us.
